Geography Challenge

the 2024 Year 8 Geography Challenge Day was held at St. Mary's on Wednesday 19th October. It was a packed house. Many schools travelled a great distance to attend. All students were on task, excited and represented their schools with distinction. Thanks must go to all the helpers who make it an enjoyable, educational and fun experience for students.

The Year 8 Geography Challenge Day is available to member schools ONLY.

The 2024 Year 8 Hunter / Central Coast Trivia day was held at the Toronto RSL Friday 2nd December.
Schools were represented by a superb group of students (the teachers were great too!). Again the title was shared. Well done to all the schools that attended.

Geography Challenge days are planned for 2025.

Our year 12 student days for Economics and Business Studies will be held at Penrith High School again this year.
It is always a highlight for students to have the Economics Editor of the Sydney Morning Herald, Ross Gittins giving a lecture on current economic thought. Ross has been a lecturer with WeSSSTA for over 25 years and it is always a pleasure to hear him speak.
